Today, the Crescendo VERSE arrived from LAIV.
I am already using LAIV’s HP2A for my headphone system, and the µDAC and µDDC for my speaker system setup. So I plan to use the newly purchased Crescendo VERSE in my office during break times.
Of course, before that, I’ll be running various tests at home. Given the nature of R2R circuitry, I expect it will require an appropriate amount of burn‑in time.
What impressed me right away is that the build quality is remarkably good for the price. LAIV’s excellent equipment has always met my expectations, and I trust that this new product will do the same.

For driving the LCD‑5, the MID gain setting is more than sufficient.
With the gain set to LOW, it delivers a clean, noise‑free background when using sensitive IEMs.
