We are deeply honoured that Herb Reichert chose the Harmony GaNM monoblocks for his Gramophone Dreams column in Stereophile's April 2026 issue. For anyone who follows high-end audio, this needs no introduction. Gramophone Dreams is one of the most respected and closely read columns in the industry, and Herb's voice carries a weight that comes from decades of honest, deeply musical listening. When he picks up a product, the community leans in.
Herb put the GaNM through a thorough comparative evaluation, testing it across multiple speaker loads and against well-regarded reference amplifiers. What makes this review especially meaningful to us is that Herb has been open about his scepticism toward class-D and GaN technology. The fact that the GaNM earned his attention, his time, and ultimately a very positive assessment speaks to what we believe GaN amplification can offer when the engineering is done right.
We will not spoil the full review here. Herb's writing is as much about music as it is about equipment, and we think readers deserve to experience that firsthand. What we will say is that we are grateful for the honest, thorough evaluation, including the areas where Herb noted trade-offs. That kind of precision is what makes Gramophone Dreams the column it is.
The Harmony GaNM has also been listed as a Class A Recommended Component in Stereophile's 2026 Edition, alongside the Harmony µDAC. We could not be more proud.
