INTRODUCTION

ORDERS AND PAYMENTS

1. Orders: All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by the Company. Please note that items placed in your shopping bag are not reserved. The acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and the Company will occur when you receive a payment confirmation email from us. This confirmation will be sent once your order payment is accepted, and the due payment is fully received. 

 

Orders placed but not paid in full will be canceled after two days or if payment recovery efforts do not succeed. If we encounter an unforeseen technical error preventing payment authorization or if the ordered item is out of stock or fails to meet our quality control standards and is withdrawn, the Company reserves the right to decline your order without any penalties on our part.

2. Pricing: Prices for our products are listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice. The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders if pricing information is found to be inaccurate.

Please note that all prices listed on our website are denominated in US dollars (US$). If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in US dollars, the final price will be calculated based on the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction on the payment platform. It's important to understand that all prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time.

3. Payment: Payment terms and accepted methods are detailed on our website and in our invoices. You acknowledge that the credit/debit card you are using belongs to you or that you have been authorized by the owner to use it.

4. Taxes: Prices listed on our website do not include applicable taxes except Singapore, US, and China. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or customs fees.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

1. Shipping: The Company will make reasonable efforts to promptly ship products after receiving payment. Shipping costs are included for the vast majority of countries. Shipping methods and delivery times may vary based on location.

 

During festive seasons, there may be slight delays in shipping due to higher order volumes. We kindly ask for our customers' understanding in such situations. If your order is time-sensitive, we strongly recommend reaching out to us at info@laiv.audio to explore a chargeable premium express delivery option at checkout for priority handling.

 

2. Risk of Loss: The risk of loss and title for Products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

 

3. International Orders: For international orders, you are responsible for compliance with import and export regulations. The Company is not responsible for delays or additional charges due to customs clearance.

Terms & Conditions

1. Limited Warranty: The Company provides warrants that the Products is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a warranty period indicated on each product.

2. Warranty Benefits: During the warranty period, the Company will, at its discretion, repair any defective Product without charge. The company reserves the right to replace defective parts with new or refurbished parts of the same quality

3. Warranty Exclusions:

This warranty does not cover:

  • Import duties or taxes whenever applicable.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, or unauthorized modifications or repairs.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Consumable parts, such as batteries, unless otherwise stated.

The warranty is void if the Product's serial number or the genuine identification sticker has been removed or defaced.

4. Warranty Claims:

4.1. Register the warranty of your product within 3 months of the date of purchase at https://www.laiv.audio/warranty-registration

4.2. To obtain warranty service, the customer must contact the Company's customer service department at info@laiv.audio.

4.3. Proof of purchase, such as the original purchase receipt and warranty card, may be required.

4.4. The customer may be responsible for shipping the defective Product to the Company's designated service center.

 

5. Limitation of Liability: The Company's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the Product. In no event shall the Company be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Product.

 

6. Legal Rights: This warranty provides specific legal rights. The customer may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction.

 

7. Entire Agreement: This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between the Company and the customer and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.

 

8. Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of Singapore without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

 

9. Amendment: The Company reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of this warranty, and any amendments will be posted on the Company's official website.

1. Jurisdiction: These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

1. Returns:

We only support returns and refunds for our products for customers from Singapore, US, and China. Several factors for not having returns policy for the rest of the world:

  • Cost Efficiency: Our pricing strategy ensures that you receive the best value for your money.

  • Logistical Challenges: Return shipping fees, customs procedures, and related complexities make returns difficult.

  • Warranty Coverage: Rest assured, our products come with warranty protection, and we are here to assist you should you encounter any issues.

For customers from Singapore, the United States, and China, we offer the following return policy:

  • Initiate a return by emailing info@laiv.audio within 30 days of receiving your order.

  • Provide a reason for the return and ensure products are in mint condition and securely packed in their original shipping box.

  • Receive assistance from a Laiv team member upon emailing.

  • Receive a prepaid shipping label via email for returning the products.

2. Refunds:

For countries without a supported returns policy, cancellation and refunds will not be possible once an order has been processed and shipped.

For returns from Singapore, the US, and China, the refund process will be as follows:

  • Products undergo inspection upon arrival at our approved destination.

  • Inspection process typically takes within 5 to 10 business days.

  • Upon meeting all criteria, receive prompt notification of product receipt and initiation of refund process.

  • Receive notification and advice regarding any open box fees or additional restocking fees due to damages if return items do not meet mint condition standards.

  • Allow 7 to 10 days for the refund to reflect in your account.

  • Note that a restocking fee of US$100 and any open box fees will be deducted from the refund amount.

Responsibility to claim a refund for incurred import taxes lies with the customer from the respective carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.).

1. Changes: The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically for updates.

MODIFICATION

1. Promotion: Promotional coupon codes are non-transferable and have no cash value. They may or may not be used in conjunction with other promotional codes or offers and must be redeemed by the date indicated on the website. If a customer receives additional discounts due to an erroneous coupon code that does not align with the advertised marketing promotion mechanics, the Company reserves the right to request the collection of the remaining payment from the customer before fulfilling the order. It's important to note that this action does not incur any penalty on our part. Please be aware that, in the event of a refund request, eligible refunds will consider the pro-rated value of the promotional coupons applied, which will be distributed across the relevant products in your order.

2. Store credit: Store credit coupon codes are non-transferable and have no cash value. Store credits must be used on orders with a total greater than the value of the store credit coupon and cannot be combined with other promotional codes or offers. If applying a store credit results in a zero-order total, we recommend adding additional items to your shopping bag to meet the minimum order requirement, as a zero-order cannot be processed at checkout.
