Reviews
I've only had the Laiv uDAC for a week now but I am totally in love with the sound. I'm enjoying my music more than ever and it has been a dream to use on both my Windows and Mac computers.
I purchased µDAC to replace my China brand DAC with ESS chip. After a week of break in, µDAC out-performs my old DAC in every aspect, especially on bringing more warmth to music whilst preserving speed and precision on delivery. I am now connecting µDAC to NAS (Soundgenic in the photo) via USB and then CD transport via coaxial, and µDAC did rekindle my interest to spend more time on CD. I am now looking for a new CD transport with I2S output so as to explore the full potentials of µDAC. Thanks you LAiV for launching this compact but wonderful gear.
Killer unit for under $1K.
Big sound! Paired with Bluesound NodeX and far exceeds internal dac as well as Schiit Modi+. Very happy client!
