Virtual HiFi Supernova open baffle loudspeakers with LAiV Harmony GaNM monoblocks and Harmony HP2A at Audio Video Show Warsaw 2026

From 23 to 25 October, Warsaw hosted one of the largest hi-fi shows in the world. Audio Video Show 2026 filled PGE Narodowy and two hotels with several hundred exhibitors, and for the first time the full LAiV range was there to be seen and heard. We were not able to be in Warsaw ourselves, so this post is a thank-you to the two teams who made it happen.

The LAiV display, by Instal Audio

Instal Audio, our distributor for Poland, built a dedicated LAiV display at the show. Every unit sat in its own acrylic case with a product card in Polish, under the LAiV wall. On the stand:

  • Harmony DAC 2, shown in Poland for the first time, carrying the "Nowość" tag. Discrete R2R ladder DAC, evolved.

  • Harmony HP2A, preamplifier and headphone amplifier.

  • Harmony GaNM, our GaN monoblock power amplifiers.

  • Harmony µDAC and Harmony µDDC, the compact discrete R2R DAC and the digital-to-digital converter.

  • Crescendo VERSE, CHORUS and BEAT, the all-in-one DAC with preamp and headphone amp, the GaN stereo and mono power amp, and the new linear power supply.

If you are in Poland and want to hear any of these, Instal Audio is the place to start: www.instalaudio.pl.

The listening room, by Virtual HiFi

Our friend at Virtual HiFi took LAiV out of the display case and into a listening room. His own Supernova open baffle loudspeakers were driven by a pair of Harmony GaNM monoblocks, with the Harmony HP2A as preamplifier and a T+A DAC 200 as the source. Virtual HiFi cables and Vibron isolation completed the system.

He also did something brave for a show demonstration: the music came from a laptop playing YouTube. His point was to challenge the idea that YouTube has to be the weakest link in a serious system, and to let visitors decide for themselves.

He recorded the room, so you can listen too. The video runs just under 25 minutes, with a system introduction followed by four tracks, from 40 Fingers to Chantal Chamberland.

Use headphones or your usual system at a comfortable level. A recording gives a glimpse of the presentation rather than a substitute for the room, but it is a good glimpse.

Thank you

To the Instal Audio team, thank you for giving the whole range a home at the show, and for the care that went into every card and case.

To Virtual HiFi, thank you for trusting the Harmony GaNM and HP2A with Supernova, and for sharing the session with everyone who could not be there.

If you visited either room, we would love to hear what you thought. Tell us in the comments or write to info@laiv.audio.
