An honest update on LAiV pricing

A note from the LAiV team to our listeners.


Starting 1 June 2026, the retail price of several LAiV products will be adjusted. Before we get to the details, we wanted to explain why, in our own words.


Since the start of this year, the cost of producing these products has risen sharply, across most of the components we rely on. We have absorbed these increases for as long as possible, because the last thing we want is to pass higher costs to the listeners who chose LAiV. We held the line for as long as we reasonably could.


We have now reached the point where keeping current pricing is no longer sustainable. To keep manufacturing at the standard our products demand, to keep supply steady, and to keep building what we have on the roadmap, we need to make this adjustment.



What is changing


The following products will be updated to new MSRP from 1 June 2026:


If you have been considering any of these, you have until 31 May 2026 to order at the current pricing through laiv.audio or your local LAiV dealer.




A more complete Harmony µDAC


From 1 June, the Harmony µDAC will offer a new bundle option built around how listeners actually live with it. The bundle will include:


  • A pair of LAiV XTR (XLR to RCA converters), for full compatibility across single-ended and balanced systems.


  • The Crescendo remote control, originally designed for Crescendo VERSE, provides the convenience of changing the inputs and settings for the Harmony µDAC remotely.


For most listeners, this is the combination they would build anyway. We wanted to make stepping into LAiV R2R simpler, more complete, and more rewarding from day one.



What Is Not Changing


We will keep doing what we have always done: design carefully, build precisely, and tune to the reference of live, organic music. That part does not change.
